Tony Garcia is an architect known for thoughtful, efficient designs and a talent for solving complex challenges. His technical expertise and dedication to effective management ensure every project balances innovation with practicality, navigating entitlements and construction with precision. 

Since co-founding Asquared Studios, Tony has led an array of projects, including award-winning residences, workplace interiors, mixed-use developments, and historic renovations. His experience spans traditional construction, pre-fabricated building methods, and Design-Build delivery, always striving to deliver projects on time and on budget. 

As the studio’s operations director, Tony oversees performance and continuously strengthens client services. A graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Design and a design excellence award, he is a licensed architect in California. In 2018, he was honored with the AIA National Young Architect of the Year Award. 

Jessie Whitesides grew up surrounded by artists and designers, fostering an innate passion for quality and craftsmanship. As a founding principal of Asquared Studios, she brings an extraordinary talent for creating simple, elegant designs that seamlessly blend beauty and function. 

Extensive travels have shaped Jessie’s appreciation for diverse perspectives, enriching her work with clients and collaborators. Living and working in Northern California, she has developed a deep connection to the Northern California barn vernacular, reimagining its forms with a modern, contemporary flair. Her expertise spans wineries, hospitality, agricultural projects, and single and multi-family residences. 

Jessie holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from Arizona State University and a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Washington. As a licensed architect in California, Washington, and New York, and with NCARB certification, she combines her academic foundation with exceptional project leadership, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
